- 2-3 years one 2.5ml spoonful
- 3-5 years one 5ml spoonful
- 6-10 years one or two 5ml spoonfuls
- To be given 6 hourly by mouth as required but not to exceed 3 doses in 24 hours.
Do not use: If your child is sensitive to any of the ingredients. During an acute asthma attack If your child suffers from palpitations, abnormally fast heart beat or other heart conditions If your child is also taking medicines known as MAOIs (or has taken these in the last 2 weeks) This medicine contains sorbitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.

Each 5 ml of theTixylix Cough & Cold Linctus contains Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 20 mg, Chlorphenamine Maleate 2 mg and Pholcodine 5 mg. It also contains glycerol, sorbitol, citric acid, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium benzoate, flavouring (including raspberry and vanilla flavours), sodium saccharin, acesulfame potassium and water.
